The Next Superstar

Game vs Pelicans

PORTLAND SHOT                         Game vs Pelicans Photo from: CBS Sports By:  Nate Smetana Yesterday the Blazers had a jaw dropping game against the Pelicans.  This was McCollom's first game after his long injury.  For McCollom to be a necessary player, the Blazers had to win by two or more points, but they didn't. I am comparing this game to another game earlier in the season against the Pelicans. After the first quarter, the Blazers were losing 34-28.  McCollom only had 8 points and Lillard had a nice 11 points only after the first quarter.  After the first half the Blazers were losing 64-50.  So far McCollom wasn’t playing too well.  My spotlight of the first half was Damian Lillard with 19 points and 5 assists.  After the 3rd quarter the Blazers were losing 95-82.  In the final 6 minutes Lillard led a spectacular comeback to steal the win from the pelicans.  Lillard had a stunning game with 50 points and ten assists.  Hopefully the

The Blazers eventually took the win 125-121.  It was great to see Carm

Maybe we could trade Zach Collins or Enes Kanter and a 2nd rounder for him.  I am not saying Lamarcus Aldrige is a terrible player, I am just saying he is not as valuable as the first time he was with Portland.  He is starting to become an older player and he is not as fast as he used to be.  If  we do get him he would hopefully play well with Lillard because he already knows their system.  It is hard to tell if he is even as good as Kanter.  He is definitely better than Collins who gets injured every year so that would be good for Portland.  Kanter is definitely a needed player for Lillard because he always reboun

This was the first loss after the All Star break.  Hopefully they can beat Minnesota next game.  PLEASE FOLLOW MY BLOG!
